Thrissur: A resolution was given within days to the petition filed in the Navakerala assembly demanding the repair of a bad road.
A petition was filed in the Nava Kerala Sadas asking for the repair of Engandiyur West Pokulangara Palam road in Thrissur district.
1.33 crore has been sanctioned by the state government within a few days. This was informed by a young man through an Instagram channel called Vlogvetan.
The vlog was accompanied by a government order that allocated money for road rehabilitation. The young man said that Rs 1.33 crore has been sanctioned and the work is expected to start as soon as possible.
A complaint signed by the locals was given in the Navakerala audience. It was said in the complaint that Engandiyur Beach Road has been in a dilapidated state for a long time and is full of potholes.
The complaint was filed in Navkerala Sadas of Guruvayur constituency. The application was submitted to the port department. The youth said that the road should be repaired before the rainy season or else it will be miserable.
After that, the complaint was resolved within a few days. This video of the young man has gone viral on social media.
