Congress leader K.C. Venugopal evaded the question regarding Samasta’s speech criticizing the Congress. While explaining the matters related to Rahul Gandhi’s second Bharat Jodo Yatra, the question arose from journalists associated with Samasta main newspaper. But KC Venugopal avoided responding to the question. The Samasta mouthpiece Suprabhatam says that the Congress’ stand that it will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple is wrong. The mouthpiece says that the Congress is adopting a soft Hindutva position and if this position is not changed, the BJP itself will come to power in 2024.
Yechury and D Raja showed anger to say that they will not attend the function. Ram temple is built on broken secular minds. The Congress should be careful not to fall for the BJP’s attempt to religiousize the country. Kanthapuram AP Abubakar Musliar also came forward in response to the Congress’ stance that it would participate in the inauguration of the Ram Temple dedication ceremony in Ayodhya. Abubakar Musliar’s response was to let the Congress itself answer the issue. The CPM came to the scene after rejecting the invitation.
