Lady superstar of Malayalam cinema, Manju Warrier is at the center of attraction these days, with the actress’s name being dragged to various issues – Right from film Mohanlal starred ‘Odiyan’ to that of the state government program ‘women wall’. While ‘Odiyan’ director Shrikumar Menon is all attacking Manju Warrier for not participating in the promotional activities of the movie, a section of the Communist Party followers in the state, are attacking the actress for her decision of backing off from the program ‘women wall’.
However, director – actor Joy Mathew has come forward openly supporting the actress. Criticizing those communist party members, who are attacking Manju for backing off from the ‘women wall’ initiative, Joy Mathew opined that the move would eventually bring the party under a negative shade. Specifically pointing out at the cyber comrades, Joy Mathew wondered about the kind of hysteria that had clutched on them, for an actress openly expressing her viewpoint. Earlier, Manju Warrier had backed off from the ‘women wall’ program of the government, citing the political color that the program had gained.
