APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University has postponed all of its examinations scheduled to take place from July 1st onwards. Informing the same, Vice Chancellor Dr. MS Rajashree said that the decision was taken under the condition of massive spike of Covid cases in India. It is also mentioned that the University has received numerous complaints and requests from various Student organizations as well as the parents of the students, demanding the postponement of examinations.
Following this, a syndicate was convened chaired by Pro. Vice Chancellor Dr. S Ayoob. The Exam Standing Committee of the Syndicate decided postponing the exams. With the massive spike of Covid positive cases in the state, several examinations were postponed, while certain Universities have conducted the examinations of its students. Last week, the University Grants Commission has advised higher educational institutions in the country of postponing examinations.
