Well, this must be quite a disturbing news, as WHO has come up with a new revelation that Covid 19 is an airborne disease. A group of scientists have come up with their studies, suggesting that Covid doesn’t need physical proximity to spread. The study has been conducted by 239 scientists from 32 different countries, and asks WHO to revise the Covid guidelines. Though this was something suggested during the initial days of Covid, WHO turned down the possibilities of Covid being an airborne disease, based on lack of evidences.
However, with the latest studies suggesting the same, it has to be seen how WHO is going to accept the latest findings. If approved by the WHO, then there would be immense changes in the way the world treats Covid. India, still far from being out from the pinnacle days of Covid, should have to make necessary arrangements to meet the new challenge.
However, from Kerala, we have some positive news reports, suggesting that the state is looking forward to increase the daily test count. Right now, the daily testing stands in the 7K range, but with the efforts of the government, it is expected to clock the 15K range soon in the coming days. However, the state is still looking for ways to improve the period of receiving the results after the conductance of tests.
