On June 11, As was informed by the authorities, India has seen its biggest spike in Covid cases. The country, in the last 24 hours, reported 9,996 new positive cases. The country also marked 357 new death cases as well. With this, the total death tally in the country has reached 8,102. These worrisome figures suggest that the country is far from being out from the clutches of the pandemic. With today’s report, the country has a total of 1,41,028 active cases, while 1,37,448 have managed to recover from Covid. Total number of people in India, who caught Covid, has gone past 280K.
It has to be noted that it took just 3 days for the country to touch the death toll of 8,000 mark, from the 7,000 mark. Maharashtra, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu continue to lead the Covid chart of the country.
