Idukki native, who tested positive, died of cardiac arrest. Hailing from Rajakkad NR City, Idukki, Valsala (59), who was taking medication from a private hospital in Ernakulam, succumbed to death. Earlier, she was tested Covid positive, when she underwent the procedural checkup prior to the heart surgery. Valsala, who was subject to heart surgery on Saturday, was later put into ventilator.
After experiencing chest pain, it was on Friday that she was admitted to the hospital. In the previous day too, the results of posthumously conducted tests of two persons turned positive.
