The number of coronavirus cases in the country has crossed one and a half lakh. As many as 1,51,767 people have been diagnosed with the virus, including 6387 newly diagnosed in 24 hours. The country reported 170 deaths in a single day. The total death toll was 4337.

According to the ministry of health, 83,004 people are currently receiving treatment in hospitals in the country. One-third of the country’s population is in Maharashtra.
