The route map of the priest, who had died of Covid, was published. However, authorities have failed to locate the exact source from which he received Covid. Fr. K.G Varghese, who succumbed to death couple of days ago, was admitted to the ICUs of Neurology department, ENT department and Medicine, at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. He was also admitted to the District hospital in Peroorkkada. Here, the ICU, operation room, and medicine ward, have all been visited by the deceased priest. Soon then the route map got published, more than 50 health workers, including doctors were put into quarantine.
Apart from the priest, the route map of the defendant under remand from Neyyattinkara too was published. The route map suggested that he visited Nedumangad Pazhakutti, Vellanjira, Vembamood and Venjarammood. Subsequently, on 25th May, he made his presence felt in Venjarammood police station and Neyyattinkara Sub Jail. Similar to the case of the priest, officials have failed to locate the source of him.
