Kochi: The bodies of those who died during the CUSAT tragedy were brought to the CUSAT campus for public viewing. After the post-mortem, the bodies of Sarah Thomas, Atul Thampi and Ann Rufta were brought to the Cusat campus for public viewing. The body will be handed over to the relatives after a public vigil at Kusat.
Sarah’s funeral will be held on Monday. The funeral will be held at St George’s Orthodox Church, Engapuzha at 10 am. After the public darshan at Kusat, the body will be taken home to Korangate in Thamarassery.

Ann Rufta’s funeral will take place on Tuesday, relatives said. The cremation will take place after the mother in Italy returns home. After placing the body for public viewing, it will be shifted to the mortuary at Paravur Taluk Hospital.
Four people, including students, died in an accident during a music program organized as part of Techfest at the Kalamassery Kochi University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) campus. Atul Thambi, a native of Koothatukulam, a second semester student of the School of Engineering, Antifta, a native of North Paravur, Sarah Thomas, a native of Kozhikode Thamarassery, and Alvin Joseph, a native of Mundur, Palakkad, died.
