In an absurd incident, dead chickens were found in a chicken stall owned by CP Rasheed in Eranjikal, Kozhikode. After being informed by the locals, the health department conducted an inspection and sealed the shop.
Around 1500 dead chickens were found for sale in a shop called MKB Market in Eranjikal. During the inspection conducted by the locals after the foul smell, they found dead and worm-eaten chickens inside the shop.
After being informed by the locals, the health department reached the spot and conducted an inspection. The health department has collected samples to check if the chickens were infected with any kind of disease. At present, the dead chickens have been moved to a waste treatment plant.
