The reports from Mumbai suggest that Mumbai police has questioned Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, over the case of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is said that police has also recorded his statement. A few days back, the investigation team had also questioned Shanoo Sharma, the casting director of YRF. Though the close ones of the late actor demand of the case being handed over to the CBI, the investigating team has been probing several personalities associated with Sushant. Last day, the investigating team has recorded the statement of the actor’s personal psychiatrist. While police was searching the actor’s flat in Bandra, they have managed to find a prescription note.
Couple of days ago, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty appealed before Home Minister Amit Shah that the case should be handed over to CBI. However, authorities, while commenting on the same, maintained that Mumbai Police was in the right direction, and doesn’t need to drag a central investigating agency into this. It was on June 14th, that the actor was found dead by hanging at his flat in Bandra.
