Spurred by the digitalization initiative taken by the govt. the country’s digital services are poised to grow at a tremendous rate. The reports made by IAMAI and Nishith Desai Associates, pointed out that given time, as well as a proper and sustained action from the govt. India’s digital services will touch the $1 Trillion mark by the year 2022.
Commenting on the recently improved performance in the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ index, the report further said that India is expected to get massive FII/FDI and technology transfers. It was the areas of ‘Online Advertising’, Purchasing/Renting of license of software’, ‘IP’ and ‘Cloud’ areas, which according to the report, are going to make an impact on the Digital economy of India.
