On the Monday when Shabna took her own life, it is clear in the video that the in-laws are calling Shabna badly. This video was taken by Shabna herself on her phone. In-laws are even talking about divorce. After this, the husband’s uncle Hanifa beats Shabna. Shabna committed suicide after this incident. In the video, Hanifa is threatening Shabna. They are also threatening not to speak loudly to men.
Another important thing is that the police have intensified the investigation related to Shabna’s suicide. The police will soon question the husband’s parents and sister who are mentioned in the complaint of Shabna’s relatives. All of them were at home on the day of Shabna’s death. Haneefa, who beat up Shabna, was arrested and remanded. Shabna’s daughter had earlier told the police that when Shabna entered the room and closed the door, no one was willing to help her. Shabna hanged herself at her husband’s house last Monday.
