Director Kamal responded to director Jio Baby’s remark that Farooq had insulted the college by calling him. Kamal said that insulting Jio Baby by the director is unacceptable.
Don’t try to risk it by introducing narrow religious ideas into the cinema. Kamal added that this is not a drastic step in the cultural field.
He was speaking at the ‘Directors’ World’ program held at Kochi International Puskotsava venue.
On the other hand, Jio Baby came against Farooq College last day. Jio Baby alleged that he was called and insulted.
Jio Baby’s stance is that the cancellation of the program and the union’s response are humiliating and will take legal action against it.
At the same time, the strange argument of the Union was that Farooq College was not compatible with the moral values of Jio Baby and would not cooperate with the program.
After this, Farooq College management canceled the programme.
