Superstar Dulquer Salmaan on the occasion of Children’s Day on Monday launched ‘Wayfarer’s Tree of Life’ in association with Aster Medcity, Kites Foundation and Wayfarer Films. The initiative aims to sponsor the life-saving surgeries of 100 children from economically poor families.
The Sita Ramam actor said that through this DQF and Aster Hospitals, Kerala provide life-saving surgeries free of cost. Aster Hospitals also meets the additional medical expenses for children who cannot meet the outlay for the same. Starting with 100 free pediatric surgeries, local surgeries in the Liver & Kidney Transplant, Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplant, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and Urology will be performed.
Taking to Instagram, Dulquer wrote, “This Childrens Day we at Wayfarer Films are delighted to launch the Wayfarer – Tree of Life initiative. This initiative will support 100 free life-saving surgeries for children suffering from critical illnesses. Wayfarer’s DQF in association with Aster Hospitals Kerala and KITES India offers 100 pediatric surgeries and interventional procedures to children from underprivileged backgrounds through ‘Wayfarer – Tree of Life’ !”
