The film is produced by Dulquer Salman himself and Kurup is the first big-budget film to be released online in Malayalam. The deal is said to be for a record amount in the history of Malayalam cinema. The name of the OTT platform and release date will be announced today. Earlier, Dulquar’s film ‘Maniyarayile Asokan’ was released on OTT platform.
