The SC development department has announced that a free entrance training would be given to SC/ST candidates, preparing for Engineering/Medicinal entrance examinations. The training would be provided by the Govt. Pre Examination Training Centre, functioning in Mannanthala, Thiruvananthapuram. The courses will be conducted during the months of April and May. Interested candidates from the districts of – Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta can apply.
However, the notification mandates that the family income of applicants should not exceed INR 1 lakh per year. The classes will commence from March 28 onwards. Application forms will be made available at the office. Filled in applications, along with necessary documents, should reach the office on or before March 26. Helpline number: 0571 2543441.
