Essential Phone has come up with a ‘Halo Gray’ variant of, which has included a built in Alexa feature. The device has already started receiving pre orders exclusively via Amazon, and would go on sales from February 21st onwards. That said the device has been priced at $449. The price, if converted to the Indian standards, would cost INR 28,000. As far as the specifications of the smartphone are concerned with, there is a 5.7 inch edge to edge QHD display, with an aspect ratio of 19:10.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the processor is mated with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB RAM. Similarly all the features are same as the predecessor, while the major uplift being the presence of Alexa. The ‘Halo Gray’ variant would have Android 8.1 Oreo Beta update inside the dock.
