23-year-old Sreepathi became the first woman judge from a tribal community in Tamil Nadu. Adding sweetness to this success is the fact that Sreepathi became a woman judge by passing the exam which was held on the second day after her delivery.

A native of Puliyur in Tiruvannamalai district, Sreepathy traveled to Chennai, 250 km from her village, to appear for the exam. Sripati got married before completing his law studies. By the time it was time for the main examination for the appointment of civil judge, it was time to give birth.

Two days before the exam, she was experiencing labor pains. After the birth of the baby, Sripati followed the doctor's instructions and came to Chennai by car and took the exam. The exam was held in November 2023.

At the same time, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin also came to the stage to congratulate Sripathy. Stalin's greeting was through Twitter.

Mrs. Sripathi from Puliyur village next to Javvadumalai in Thiruvannamalai district has passed the law judge exam at the age of 23!

I am happy that a girl from a tribal community in a hill village with no major facilities has achieved this feat,” Stalin wrote on Twitter.

Sripathy's victory is the answer to many people in Tamil Nadu who hesitate to even utter the word social justice. Stalin also wrote on Twitter that according to the DMK government's Dravidian model, Tamil medium students are given priority in government jobs.

Stalin shared a photo of Sripathy carrying her baby in front of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission office. This picture has gone viral on social media. Many people come with wishes to Sripati.
