Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) has come up with a report, which suggests that Facebook and Google were promoting ‘pop – up’ brothels. The report made it clear that, both the companies were promoting such ‘pop – up’ sex clubs on their platforms. This point out to an unpleasing report that, both the tech giants were profiting over the trafficking of vulnerable women.
Reacting to the reports, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said that protecting vulnerable boys – girls and women would always be their most important responsibility. Making sure that they would do their best to combat such heinous crime activities, it has to be seen how the social media giant is going to tackle the accusations.
