It has been announced by Facebook that all of its employees could now work from home until July 2021. It is in the wake of the global outbreak of the corona virus that the decision came from the social media giant. Apart from this, the Facebook officials have also informed that they would pay an additional $1,000 for all the employees to set up home office facilities. The decision came from Facebook, as a result of the internal discussion held between top officials on August 6th.
Apart from this, Facebook has also made it clear that its offices would be opened with fewer employees as the spread of the virus comes to an end. By making these newer announcements, Facebook has asserted that it would strictly follow the Covid protocols. Earlier, several other tech giants too have made similar announcements. Alphabet has already sanctioned all of its employees to work from home until June 2021. On the other hand, Twitter is said to have given employees the option of working from home for as long as they want.
