Facebook India has gone ahead with the idea of incorporating Aadhaar with its database. The company would now allow users signing up with their Aadhaar name, though the social media giant is not going to make it a necessary step. While speaking towards the reports, Facebook officials commented that linking Aadhaar with Facebook id is going to ease out the process of recognizing friends.
Though it is on a testing phase now, it is been reported that facebook will only be asking the first and last names. It is not clear, when facebook is going to roll out the new feature on a countrywide note.
