Local C.P.M. Complaint that the leader is trying to destroy the industry. It is alleged that they are trying to destroy the initiative of a young entrepreneur named Tony, who runs Madapally Tire Trading Company in Manganam, Kottayam. Vijayapuram panchayat member and C.P.M. Manganam Local Secretary Biju P.T. Tony says that he is suffering from constant threats and false complaints. On December 31, Biju led by CCTV entered the company and attacked the employees. The footage also came out.

“Biju has been going ahead with complaints and violence against him for the last three years. Employees are threatened. We are being threatened by sending a complaint to the Chief Minister and the Pollution Control Board. Since the beginning, they have been sending complaints and creating obstacles.’- says Tony.

On the evening of 31st, he used to hold the cart that came with the load and abuse and beat the supervisor. Following this, the supervisor ran inside the building and was followed by about fifty people who beat him again with chairs and stones. It has all the licenses as per Govt. A complaint has been lodged with the police. Tony expressed hope that there will be action. The institution was built by spending crores of rupees. About 60 people work here, says Tony.

Meanwhile, Biju has alleged that the company is being run illegally.
