Announced at the Samsung Developer Conference, the company’s latest addition to its stream of gadgets is a high end camera, which can capture 3D content. The 360 Round, though hasn’t been priced by Samsung, it is expected to be in the range of $10,500 – approximately at INR 6.83 lakh. The Samsung 360 Round is all set to hit the US market by October, followed by other key markets.
Featuring 17 lenses – with all of which having a f/2.8 aperture; the 360 Round has one single lens which in effect, delivers 3D video in 4K resolution; The videos would be recorded in 4096 x 2048 pixels at 30fps. 3D stills with depth all of which comes along with spatial audio. It is essentially a water resistant device, with IP65 certification. The 8 set in stereo pairs, coupled with 6 internal microphones for spatial audio.
As per the details divulged by the company, The Samsung 360 Round comes in the dimension of 205 x 205 x 76.8mm and is going to weigh 1.93kg. There are two external microphone ports, while there are two sets of memory – an LPDDR3 10GB and eMMC 40GB internal memory. Evidently, there is a built in PC software in the device.
