FEFKA Director’s Union is conducting its 3rd Short Film Festival and has invited entries to discover new presence voices in cinema, stated their official website.
Films winning first, second and third will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-, 50,000/- ,25,000/- respectively along with momentos and certificates. The films will be judged by a panel of eminent filmmakers, artists, writers and critics.
A cash prize of Rs 10,000 for Best Director, and Rs. 5,000 for the Best Screenplay, Editor, Background Music Director, Sound Designer, VFX Artist, Actress, Actor and Child Actor. The Union will also give Special Jury Award for the Best Campus Film and Pravasi Film. Special Jury Mention Awards will be given for the best performance.
All Indian and foreign language/ silent films can be sent. Admission fee is Rs. 2500 per film. FEFKA Directors’ Union members have been given a rebate of Rs 1,000.
Subtitles are mandatory for language films other than Malayalam and English.
