As was announced by Redmi earlier, two of its smartphone models have gone for flash sale today. The two models – Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have gone for sale on Mi.com and Flipkart. Started off the sales at 12 PM, the devices got sold out within no time. While Redmi Note 5 is been sold for INR 8,999 for a base version, this is the first time, that Redmi Note 5 Pro has gone for sale, post the price hike introduced by the company last week. The company had introduced a price hike of INR 1,000 for Redmi 5 Pro, along with a hike of INR 5,000 for Mi TV 4.
While the price of the 4GB/64GB variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro has met with a price hike, that of the 6GB/64GB variant remained unchanged – at INR 16,999.
