Apart from food items and other essentials, the star also provided financial assistance ranging from Rs.10,000 to Rs.50,000.
Vijay provided assistance to 750 selected families in Tirunalveli and Thoothukudi areas.
Vijay also gave Rs 1 lakh to a woman who lost her home and family members in the floods.
