Former President Pranab Mukherjee has been tested Covid positive. It was Pranab Mukherjee himself, who confirmed the news through his Twitter handle. It is informed that he had reached the hospital for a medical checkup, which was unrelated to Covid. However, when tested, the former president’s samples have turned positive.
On a visit to the hospital for a separate procedure, I have tested positive for COVID19 today.
I request the people who came in contact with me in the last week, to please self isolate and get tested for COVID-19. #CitizenMukherjee

While informing the news, Pranab Mukherjee requested everyone who was in contact with him for the past one week to observe self – isolation. He also urged those people to take Covid test.
