As the funeral function of veteran politician KM Mani took place in Pala St. Thomas Cathedral Cemetery, thousands mobbed to pay respect to their beloved leader for the last time. One of the biggest names in Kerala politics and leader of Kerala Congress, KM Mani’s funeral rites were conducted by Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Bava.
The body of KM Mani was taken to Pala St. Thomas Cathedral by 4:30 in the evening. The atmosphere in Pala St. Thomas Cathedral underlined the kind of adulation, which KM Mani enjoyed. Followers of the thespian thronged into watch their leader for the last time, while Kerala Police fired their guns, as part of protocol rules.
