Aishwarya Rai and Vikram’s period drama Ponniyin Selvan has garnered rave reviews and is collecting impressive numbers at the box office.
The popular dairy brand, Amul India has termed the film a ‘Masterpiece’ in their new topical.
Taking to their Instagram handle, Amul dropped the topical wherein animated versions of Vikram, Aishwarya, Trisha and Karthi can be seen munching on bread and butter. The graphic was inscribed with the words, “Get your Mani’s worth,” while also calling the film a “masterpiece,” In the caption, they wrote, “Epic film, by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan released!”

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel, the much-anticipated Tamil historical drama chronicles the story of the early days of Arulmozhivarman, a powerful king of the south who went on to become the great Chola emperor Rajaraja Chola I in the 10th Century.
