The Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation (GIFT), Thiruvananthapuram has issued a notification regarding the issuance of ICSSR Institutional Doctoral Fellowship. A total of 5 fellowships would be awarded in the domain of Public Economics, while specialization can be done in one or more of the following disciplines – Resource Mobilization and Expenditure, Fiscal Federalism, Interstate Trade and Goods and Service Tax, Local Self Government Institutions and Governance.
Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in Graduation and 55 percent of marks in Post Graduation. Filled in applications along with a Proposal, should be sent to the following email address: registrargifttvm@gmail.com, on or before 16 March, 2018. Shortlisted candidates for the fellowship would be invited for an interview to be held on 24 March, 2018. Selected candidates will receive a monthly payment of INR 16,000 for the first two years; besides an annual contingency grant of INR 18,000 too would be provided by the institute.
