Now Ganesh Kumar has broken silence over Kerala government’s new project K-Swift, which has come under attack over frequent accidents. The bus met with an accident on the flagged-off day itself. The bus has been involved in five accidents so far. The last bus accident was at Thamarassery. At the same time, another group of people say that private bus owners are deliberately giving such news to the media to manipulate the K-Swift services.
Meanwhile, former minister Ganesh Kumar has now responded to the issue. He said, “If I were the Transport Minister now, I would have to answer for all these issues. Every day K-swift meets with accident. KSRTC employees are not paid too.”
“When I say that God is with me, some ridicule me. But those who read the newspaper of the last two days will know that God is with me. Do you understand now? A lot of people have complained that I was not made a minister. But I think it is better not to be a minister. If not, I would have to answer all of this. Initially I was a little upset, but when I read today’s newspaper, it changed,” said Ganesh Kumar in his unique style.
KSRTC-SWIFT brings together all the long distance bus services of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). It operates four AC-Volvo sleeper buses to Bengaluru from the capital and six services under bypass riders from the capital to Kozhikode, Kannur and Mananthawadi on the inaugural day. The main idea behind setting up of new services under a new company was to ensure safe and clean services to the long distance passengers in the KSRTC.
