The anticipatory bail of Swapna Suresh, the controversial woman in the case of smuggling gold through the diplomatic passage, would be considered on Tuesday. While considering the case, the Kerala High Court said that it needs to hear more of the case. Right from the beginning of the session, the advocate of Swapna Suresh had requested the court to consider the case to the next week.
NIA, which has already taken in charge of the case, informed the court that, there are clear evidences, which point to the involvement of Swapna Suresh, Sandeep and Sarith in the case. NI also added that they have already registered the FIR. NIA also maintained that the accused shouldn’t be given bail during the early stages of investigation.
