As the controversy of gold smuggling through Diplomatic Baggage is trembling Cliff House in an unusual manner, IT Secretary M Sivasankar has been replaced by the office of CM. However, this doesn’t come as surprise, as several sources suggested that the decision might come at any time this morning. While replacing M Sivasankar from the post of Private Secretary of Chief Minister, office of the CM has given the additional duty to Mir Mohammed IAS, who is currently serving as the director of the Department of Environment and Climate Change. Mir Mohammed IAS is a 2011 batch of the Indian Administrative Service.
It is informed that though M Sivasankar has been replaced from the Private Secretary’s post, he would continue at the helm of the IT department. However, with the opposition parties raising demands for a deep probe into the affair between M Sivasankar and Swapna Suresh, the coming days are going to be crucial for the Kerala IT Secretary.
