Google app has received a new APK, which has got a physical Google Assistant button. The APK file, which is running its beta test, revealed that along with a physical button for Google Assistant, the update would also be having a range of small features. Apart from the squeeze function found in Pixel 2, there are no physical functions right now available for activating Google Assistant.
As per the sneak peeks, it is believed that the smart speaker and other smart home devices would be the ones that are going to get a hardware button. When Google Assistant received its last update – V7.18 – it contained a toggle option.
