Google, during the Google I/O developer conference, has demonstrated a new way of using the camera and Google Maps together. By means of the integration, Google Maps was seen to be navigating people around the city in a better manner. One year old ‘Google Lens Technology’ has thus integrated the A.I technology to the smartphone camera. With this upgrade, Google Maps has got Street View, and featured notable landmarks making their presence. This has achieved with a combination of camera and computer vision technology.
Along with the upgrade, Google Lens would now be able to distinguish between different street objects.
