Google News has tightened its grip over websites and they have come up with an updated set of guideline policies. Mentioning that no site should provide misleading information regarding the news content; the updated policy states that misrepresenting, misstating, concealing the country of its origin, would be facing strict actions from the part of Google News.
The updated policy also gives freedom for a publisher to file a spam report, provided that they believe that another publisher had violated the Google News guideline policy. Google officials maintained that taking actions would be based on the user impact.
