In an attempt to strengthen women, Indian govt. has launched a new portal – NARI. The portal, which will provide women citizen an easy platform for getting information related to govt. schemes and initiatives intended for women. The launching announcement made by Union Minister Maneka Gandhi, further added that the portal of NARI will carry a link to all the Ministries, Departments and various autonomous bodies; while the easy access to online applications and grievance redressal is the highlight of the portal.
As it is visible o the portal, NARI provides details on as much as 350 different schemes for women, which will be updated from time to time.
