Gurugram has got its first ever digital post office. The digital post office, which could serve as Aadhaar – Passport service hub and other digital services, would also be delivering regular post office services. The Haryana government has also launched a special centre along with Enviro, which is the facilities management wing of Vatika Group.
Keeping the digital records of all services provided by it, the new post office will also deliver mails, accept savings deposits and provide life insurance covers as well. UIDAI is planning to roll over 24,000 digital post offices and 12,000 bank branches across the country.
