TN Sarasu is a BJP candidate who contested from Alathur in this Lok Sabha election. She is the former principal of Government Victoria College, Palakkad. SFI, a left-wing student organization, had staged large-scale protests against him when he was the principal. All of this has garnered a great deal of media attention.

She retired from Government Victoria College in the year 2016. SFI prepared a symbolic grave as a farewell to them. It became controversial in a big way, but a large section of left leaders came out in favor of it. Now there is a threat in the social media that they will be buried alive.

Yesterday SFI state secretary PM Arshaw made a post on Facebook. He posted a welcome post for newcomers. He made this post in the context of the beginning of a new academic year. He made this announcement by announcing his pro-Palestinian stance. Watermelon was also given in the poster. “Studentism without reconciliation with occupation and communalism. Welcome to Newbies” – this was Arshow’s caption.

Below this came a comment by a person named Rabindranath Patazhi. “Haven’t they built a model cemetery for the living teachers and set an example” – this was the comment. Below this, a person came with death threats against Sarasu. His Facebook name is Naushad Abawa Bawa. “If it was our time, Sangini would have buried Sarasu alive” – this is his comment.
