The India Meteorological Department has forecasted that heavy rains shall continue to lash across Kerala till Wednesday.
Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod have been sounded yellow alert for Sunday and Monday.
Heavy rainfall ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm is expected in the districts which are placed under yellow alert.
