Hero MotoCorp had earlier suggested of releasing the Hero HX250R during the 2014 Auto Expo. That said, we were on the verge of having HX250R before us on during 2016 Auto Expo. Well, as per the reports, we hear that Hero MotoCorp has changed their plans and would now be focusing on a rather new model. Close sources suggested that the company would be planning to introduce a 300cc bike instead of going with their post dated idea of a 250cc model.
As per the plans of Hero MotoCorp, the HX250R was expected to be powered by a 249cc single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid cooled engine, while a 6 speed transmission is said to be associated with it. That said, the model is capable of producing a power of 31bhp, as well as a peak torque of 26Nm. Now, all eyes are into the 300cc model, and we would love to know how the model is going to better the above said specifications.
