Honda Cars India has launched the new Honda Amaze in the country for a base price of INR 5.59 Lakh for the petrol version. The diesel variant, on the other hand, is been priced at INR 6.69 Lakh. The new Amaze comes in 4 variants – E,S, V and VX (Manual Transmission); the S and V would have CVT option as well. Unveiled during the Auto Expo 2018, the all new Honda Amaze has got some upgrades in exterior such as a chrome grille with a thicker slat and to name the rest. Along with it comes the newly designed alloy wheels, while Honda offers 5 color options for the all new Amaze – Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
Offering 420 liter capacity, the engine of the new Amaze, however remains the same 1.2 liter i-VTEC motor (petrol). The engine develops peak power of 87bhp and a torque of 110Nm. The 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel engine, on the other hand, develops a peak power of 200Nm, and clocks a peak power f 200Nm. The CVT option is capable of churning out 79bhp power and 160Nm torque. The petrol and diesel variants deliver a mileage of19.5kmpl and 27.4kmpl respectively. Similarly, the CVT versions of both, clock 19kmpl and 23.8kmpl respectively.
