A wife has filed a divorce petition against her husband who promised her a honeymoon trip to Goa and then took her on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya.
The woman, a native of Bhopal, filed an application in the family court. The young woman applied ten days after the pilgrimage.
The couple, who live in Piplani, got married in August 2023. After that, honeymoon trips were planned.
The first plan was to go abroad. But when the husband said that he had to look after his parents and therefore could not go abroad, the wife gave up this wish.
After that we planned a honeymoon to Goa. His wife also made preparations for this.
But after the mother-in-law said that she wanted to visit Ayodhya ahead of the Ram temple dedication, the husband booked flight tickets to Ayodhya and Varanasi.
The woman says that her husband informs her about this before the trip.
Ten days after the journey, the woman filed for divorce. In the complaint, the woman alleged that her husband was more concerned about his family members than her.
