Wholly owned by Huawei, Honor has rolled out the ‘Ride Mode’ feature for Honor 9 Lite. The update, which is been rolled out in batches, would be completed by the end of March. Available via OTA, users of Honor 7x and Honor 9i too are expected to receive the update. The ‘Ride Mode’ feature is been made exclusively for Honor 9 Lite India users. The feature helps users in taking necessary measurements in avoiding the usage of mobile phones, while riding two wheelers.
Once activated, the ‘Rider Mode’ would notify callers that the user is currently riding, while emergency calls would be given due respect as well.
