Kerala Govt. has decided to take control of unaided schools functioning in the state. By claiming as much as 60 percentage of the total seats from unaided institutes, the latest move from the govt. would push the admission procedure in such institutes under online mode. While 40 percentage marks would be reserved for general candidates, students belonging to SC and ST, would respectively receive 12 percentage and 8 percentage reservation.
That said from now onwards, govt. approved unaided schools in the state would get only 40 percentage of the available seats in their institutes. As per the records, a total of 362 unaided schools are functioning in Kerala, which boasts over 45,000 seats for higher secondary students.
