Director Jio Baby strongly criticizes Farooq College, Kozhikode.
Jio Baby says that on December 5th, he was called and insulted at a program organized by the college film club.
Jio Baby says that he was invited to an event organized by Farooq Film Club in Kozhikode and later canceled it without prior notice.
The director said that after sending a mail to the principal, he did not reply till now and received a letter from the college students’ union.
Jio Baby stated that they said that his moral value was the problem and that he was humiliated in the matter and would take legal action.
He also asked what idea such a student union is putting forward. Jio Baby said this in a video shared by protesting on Instagram.

I am here to talk about my bad experience. They have invited me to the program organized by Farooq College Film Club on 5th December.
Accordingly I reached Kozhikode on the 5th. After reaching there I came to know that they have canceled the event.
The teacher who coordinates the program calls me and tells me the matter. They also suffered a lot. When asked what is the reason, nothing is clear.
The poster has even been released on social media. So I wrote this mail to the principal because of the sudden cancellation of a program. It asked the reason for canceling the event.
Also sent a message on WhatsApp. There is no answer yet. I have received a letter from the Students’ Union of Farooq College regarding this issue. It has been written- “The remarks of the inaugural party in connection with the inauguration of the film club run by Farooq College are against the moral values of the college.
Therefore, Farooq Student Union is not cooperating with the said programme”. In other words, the students’ union says that my moral values are problematic.
I need to know why the management canceled the event. I have traveled for a day for this event. I have been humiliated more than that.
I want an answer to that. I will also take legal action regarding this matter. If such a protest is not communicated, it is not correct.
