Director and producer Vignesh Shivan had a brief interaction with the media on Tuesday morning. He took the opportunity to thank the media for its support through the years and officially announced his wedding with Nayanthara on June 9.
Speaking about his wedding, he said, “I am marrying the love of my life, Nayanthara, on June 9. Initially, both of us wanted to get married in Tirupati. We had to change the venue from Tirupati owing to logistic issues. We wanted to call our friends and family members, and we can’t take everyone there. So, we have to decide to get married, here, in Mahabalipuram.”
The star couple’s wedding will be a two-day affair with Mehendi/Sangeet festivities, followed by the wedding on Thursday morning. The couple has invited all their close friends, friends in the industry, and family members.
