Suresh Gopi said that some media are spreading false news that I am going to resign from the cabinet of Modi government. This is absolutely wrong and we are committed to the development and prosperity of Kerala under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi,” Suresh Gopi wrote on Twitter. News came that Modi would resign the day after he was sworn in as a minister of state in the cabinet on Sunday.
Suresh Gopi had told the media in Delhi that he wanted time to complete the pre-arranged films and hence he had asked to be removed from his position. He said that he will work well as Thrissur MP.
“I did not ask for anything, I said no to this post. It is expected that he will be released from that post soon. Thrissur voters have no problem. They know this and I will do a good job for them as an MP. I have to do my films at any cost.” Suresh Gopi said that his goal is to work as an MP.
